TEACHING

Learn mountain cuisine from Lost Creek Farm

CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS
Our region's food heritage is built upon traditions being handed down. We are committed to sharing Appalachia's culinary heritage, and have taught workshops on food traditions, from pork sausage and pickles to vinegar pie and salt-rising bread. Whether for a private party of several to a public class of several dozen, consider learning about regional food traditions from Lost Creek Farm's heritage kitchen. VIRTUAL TEACHING
In 2020, as we took some time away from in-person events, Lost Creek Farm began offering online teaching experiences to students all over the world. From our kitchen at Lost Creek Farm, we are available for private online teaching experiences for individuals, families and small groups. Contact us to inquire about pricing and availability.

Additionally, we launched a monthly video series, highlighting one of our favorite recipes from our vast collection. Each video includes a step-by-step tutorial of the recipes and the stories behind them. The series allows us to share our knowledge with the community at no cost, and is support by donations on Patreon. To support our community teaching work, visit our Patreon page!
